A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MY KIDDOS

It seems lately that our lives are busy with all the little things of life, so I haven't had a lot of exciting things to post about. But then I realized it's the little things in life that I want to remember years down the road. So this post is dedicated to some the things we experienced this week.

Sydney "helping" make cookies. Her favorite part is licking the bowl.
It rained pretty hard one afternoon this week. Sydney loved it! She ran around outside until she was soaked.
Travis wasn't too sure about the thunder, so he stuck close to mom.
The evenings have "cooled" a bit (if you can call 90 degrees at 6 pm cool), so after dinner we've been getting back into the habit of taking walks. Gladden Farms has over 4 miles of walking paths and at least 7 parks that I know of. It's nice because I don't have to worry about Sydney riding her bike on the roads and we can just explore and go around to different parks.
(It's also great, because by the time we get home the kids are pooped and ready for a bath and then to bed...so, mom loves to take walks!) Even though he rides in the stroller, Travis has to be like his big sis and wear his helmet. We get a lot of comments and smiles from people passing by. He is a pretty stinkin' cute kid!

It's always the simple things that keep us grounded. Thanks for sharing. Cute kiddos!

I love eating the cookie dough too, Sydney. I too am quite excited that the weather is getting nicer so we can play outside.
